Amelia County Elementary School is excited to partner with Launch Family Entertainment to encourage our students to keep reading all summer long! The ACES Summer Reading Program is designed to help students maintain and strengthen their reading skills while enjoying exciting stories and new adventures.

Research shows that consistent reading during the summer helps prevent learning loss, expands vocabulary, builds comprehension, and prepares students for a successful start to the new school year. Through this program, students will track their reading progress and work toward a goal of 500 minutes of reading throughout the summer. Once completed, students can redeem their signed reading log at Launch Family Entertainment for a special reward.

We encourage all ACES Tigers to make reading part of their summer routine. Whether it's a favorite book, a new series, nonfiction topics, or stories shared with family, every page helps students continue growing as readers and learners.

Let's keep our minds active, our imaginations soaring, and our love of reading strong all summer long. We can't wait to celebrate our Tigers' reading accomplishments when school begins again in the fall!
