     Hello! I have been teaching at Amelia Elementary since 1990, and this year is my 21st year in third grade!  I live in Amelia with my husband, my daughter Brenna and son Connor who are both in college.  We have two cats and a small flock of chickens! I graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in elementary education and I also have an M.S. as a reading specialist from Longwood University. In my spare time, I love to spend time outdoors.  My family enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling, fishing, and sports.  I also enjoy reading, science, and gardening. 
     Your third grader is very special to me, and I will work hard to help them realize their own potential.  Please let me know if there's any way I can help to make your child's learning experience a better one.  I'm here to help!
