Welcome to 3rd Grade and Room 336
where great things happen!

I have been at Amelia County Elementary for twelve years teaching in 2nd and in 3rd grades.  I've attended Radford University
and Mary Baldwin College for degrees in Fine Arts,
Design, and Elementary Education.

My home is in Midlothian (Amelia residents call it "Chesterfield") but no matter how you say it, I love my drive from
there and then to a rural, farming
community for my school day. Country living and farm work is "my thing" as I grew up on a tobacco, grain, and horse farm in Nottoway County.  There's nothing like fishing with a cane pole at the end of a hot day in a field!

My family is complete with a hard working husband, Bob,
a daughter, Ashley, and a crazy,
hairy dog, Copper.

We all love the outdoors!  We are golfers and gardeners.  My favorite place
is the lake and I spend as much time there as possible.
I love going to school and have
been to college three times!
I enjoy teaching third grade students!  Welcome to Room 336 where amazing things happen!
